Family’s house dismantled

Tonight a family in Maya Mopan in Belmopan is without a house. The building which they called home for years was dismantled by Belmopan authorities. Mario Ayala, his wife, Ana Teck and their children are the latest family to be forcibly removed from a piece of land they have been living on for years. The land reportedly is owned by RECONDEV which recently also had other families removed from several other pieces of land in Belmopan. Hipolito Novelo reports.
