Another man is also in the headlines under similar circumstances. Police still have no clues as to the whereabouts of a man originally from Mexico but spent the last thirty years living on a farm in Belize. 71-year-old Teresa Obrien told the Orange Walk police that her farm caretaker, Arturo Gomez has been missing since the 7th of December. The police told the media that it is unclear where the man has gone since he disappeared from the farm in the San Luis Village area of the Orange Walk District

ACP Joseph Myvett: “On monday one Theresa Gomez of a Trial Farm address reported to Police that her farm caretaker one Arturo Gomez 72 year old Mexican National who care takes her farm that is located in the San Luis area of Orange walk had been missing for the past three days when she had made the report. So far searches continue and up to todays update there has been no new information in regard to locating him.”

Reporter: “He is a Mexican?”

ACP Joseph Myvett: “Yes he is but he has been living here for the last 30 years and he has been caretaking that farm.”
