Greg Dillon, a fisherman, has been missing since early December 2018. Dillon went fishing in the vicinity of the Turneffe area on December 8 and was expected to return home back on Monday the tenth. He never made it back. His family became concerned because Dillon would always return home as scheduled. Today Assistant Superintendent of Police Alejandro Cowo told the media that they are still investigating.
ASP Alejandro Cowo: “ Somewhere east of Turneffe Island one of the Fishermen had located and ice box that belong to the missing person. The icebox was identified by the wife to be his ice box. Apart from that I know that Coast Guard were given the information and the coordinates and they went to that area to see if they can find any other thing but up to now there is nothing in regards to Mr. Dillon.”
Greg Dillon’s family continues their search holding on to the hope that he will be found alive.
