Sr. Superintendent Hilberto Romero (Acting) Head NCIB: “A businessman from Orange Walk reported that he was driving inside the Corozal Freezone when he was intercepted by another vehicle. Two male occupants jumped out of the vehicle and held him up at gunpoint; stolen was an amount of cash and a cellular phone. Police visited the area and conducted an investigation. At this time no suspects have been detained.”
Reporter: “Are there any useful pieces of evidence like security cameras or such?”
Sr. Superintendent Hilberto Romero (Acting) Head NCIB: “Yes, police are following up on that, officers are there conducting their investigation. He is a businessman, he was there conducting business at the time.”
