Eighty cases of Belikin Beer were reportedly confiscated in Melchor de Mencos, Guatemala yesterday.  Two Guatemalan residents were charged as a result, namely, 23-year-old, Luis Rene Garcia Acevedo and 18-year-old, Mynor Eduardo Divas Cardona.  Reports from a Guatemalan publication are that the two men were traveling in a minibus on the main road to Flores, Peten when the vehicle was searched by the authorities.  The report continues that the one thousand nine hundred and twenty bottles of Belikin beer found were crossed at the western border illegally as the men had no documentation to prove otherwise.
