Jordan Craig appointed to Commonwealth Youth Council

A young Belizean has been selected to be part of the Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC) for the period 2018 to 2020.  The Commonwealth Youth Council’s aim is to further advance the youth development agenda by integrating young people into the development work of the Commonwealth at national, regional, and Pan-Commonwealth levels. It also provides a sustainable platform for unified engagement with decision makers and youth-led development initiatives.  Jordan Craig was appointed to the Caribbean and Americas Regional Committee as the Director of Policy and Research. In this role, she is responsible for conducting and spearheading all research efforts for the committee to guide its advocacy, policy and development programs.  Jordan is a Project Officer and a Research Assistant with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Belize. Jordan will work alongside nine other young professionals from the region on the Caribbean and Americas Regional Committee of the CYC.  The Commonwealth Youth Council will be undertaking an aggressive brand and project awareness campaign, to ensure all young people across the region are aware of the organization’s initiatives.
