Armenia Government School here on the Hummingbird Highway finished their graduation exercise this morning for 32 students who will be moving on to another step in their education. Pedro Chinchia and Ernel Salam who are the best of the best, they had a goal of their own and that goal is to be among the star.  They did not only talk the talk but they walk the walk in walking away with the highest honor.  I have here Pedro Chinchia, he is the valedictorian and he will tell us how to achieve this goal, it takes hard work.”

PEDRO CHINCHIA, Valedictorian

“Well it feel very good especially being the valedictorian you get very happy and sometimes sad for the others but it’s good.  It’s very hard work, you have to work hard to achieve this goal.  I felt like amazed when I heard I was the valedictorian but at the same time I felt like I deserve it because of my hard work.  Sometimes I just slip up but am smart, I know I could do it.

BRIAN WATSON, Principal

“I took a lot of work to get us where we are today but in no mean it’s where we want to be, we have a lot of work left to do here in Armenia.  This is just the beginning part.  Well we hope to be a glories future for Armenia Government School.  These students are a good group of students we are sending off into the world and we hope that they make a big difference and am sure we will be hearing much from them in the years to come and Ministry of Education we want to thank them because this is a government primary school and support that we get from the local leadership.  Belmopan Ms. Gwen Nunez, big up to her, she is a chief supporter for us here at Armenia.  We have a great staff a great group of students, great group of grad.  We look forward to see what Armenia Government School does in the future.”
