EIGHT STUDENTS RECEIVE HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
Jul 09, 2012
Eight deserving primary school leaving students will receive high school scholarships, five south side youths of Belize City will be afforded an opportunity to become proficient small craft sailors and some 60 under-privileged youths will be hosted at a grass roots Summer Camp during July and August of this year.
All this will be made possible through the Ariel Rosado Memorial Education Foundation.
The Foundations announces that they will be hosting their inaugural awards ceremony on Wednesday July 11th at 10:00 a.m. at the Belize Institute of Management (BIM) Conference Room in West Landivar. The ceremony is to present the Foundation’s 2012 awards and to present the Foundation’s 2012 Report.
The Foundation’s main purpose is to celebrate the short life of Ariel Rosado through specific efforts that will empower young Belizeans who may have been impeded from self-actualization by the scourge of poverty, low socio-economic status, or a deficit in self-confidence.
