“The purpose of this seminar is to bring female police constables together to discuss issues affecting them and at the said time, train them in coping with crimes and matters they are experiencing on the job.  Topics presented so far are stress management, ethics, dress code, domestic violence.  This afternoon we will be having a topic on health issues.  In addition, a social event was held last night between the hours of 6pm and 9pm.  During the social, eight constables were issued with commendations and an award of $50.00 for outstanding performance of duties and devotion to duties during 2012.  This morning at 8am, we were graced by Dr. Fem who played beautiful gospel music to the female officers – they enjoyed it thoroughly.  The workshop will end at 4pm today with officers receiving certificates of attendance.”
