A nineteen year old female from the Cayo District reported to police that she was raped.  The incident occurred on the fifteenth of September. 

The female alleges that on that day after having consumed alcohol, she left a bar in Teakettle Village at around midnight, enroute to a friend’s residence in the village.  While at her friend’s residence five male persons arrived. 

The complainant alleges that she went outside the house and was followed by one of the men, who pushed her to the ground, choked her and proceeded to have sexual intercourse with her against her will. 

Police have detained a nineteen year old man from Teakettle Village and an eighteen year old man from Camalote and another eighteen year old man from Teakettle pending investigations into this incident.
