A man is fighting for his life at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) after being shot on Saturday night. Police were called to a home in Roaring Creek Village, where they saw 23-year-old Eugene Alexander Henderson lying on a sofa in the living room with a gunshot wound to the head. Inspector Wilfredo Ferrufino shared more details.

Insp. Wilfredo Ferrufino, CIB Belize: “From what police have been able to determine is that he was at the residence lying in a sofa when the door of the residence was partially open and a single gunman fired the shot causing the injuries. I’m sure the investigators are looking into the motive. As you know Mr.Henderson is from Burrell Boom so I’m sure that the investigators are looking into the matter.”

Henderson remains at the KHMH in a critical condition.
