Man left unconscious on ebony Street Belize City

30-year-old Julio Del Cid was left hospitalized after he was chopped and left unconscious on Ebony Street near Public’s Supermarket. The incident occurred at around 8:45 pm.

30-year-old Julio Del Cid was left hospitalized after he was chopped and left unconscious on Ebony Street near Public’s Supermarket. The incident occurred at around 8:45 pm.  Del Cid’s body was found in a pool of blood with injuries to his head.

Sr. Superintendent, Hilberto Romero, Belize Police Department: “On Friday the 29th day of November 2019 around 8:45 pm police responded to a report by Publics Supermarket in Belize City where they found Julio Del Sid, 30 years, with a large chop wound to the head. He was taken to the KHMH where he received treatment. Information is that he was in that area when he was chopped by someone. We are conducting investigations into this matter and he has since been released from the KHMH.”

According to Senior Superintendent, Hilberto Romero, Del Cid is closely cooperating with police officers.
