40-year-old, Albert Ara of Ontario Village, Cayo District, is being sought by police after his father reported that he has been having sex with his pigs. Ara’s father owns a farm where he raises pigs. The 81-year-old farmer caught his son red-handed on Monday, July 1 at around 11:30pm. When his father caught him, he reportedly escaped the pen, scaled the fence and ran away, leaving the 2 1/2-month-old pig bleeding from the vagina. This is the 3rd report that the farmer has made for the unnatural crime; the last two were made in June 2019. Ara, however has had multiple run-ins with the law and for an even more gruesome crime. In September 2010, Ara was acquitted in Belmopan Supreme Court after he was facing charges for multiple murders. He was facing six counts of murder after he had allegedly given police a caution statement, admitting to setting a house on fire that killed two adults and four children in October 2006. The caution statement, however was not deemed admissible in court and Ara walked free. Killed in that incident were 24-year-old, Elias Ayala; his common-law-wife, 22-year-old, Maria Suchipe and their children, ages 7, 4, 6 and 2; Yanira, Alexandra, Marco and Victor, respectively. Ara was also a suspect in the disappearance of his brother who still has not been found.
