MOH advises against unauthorized Dayamineral Syrup

1 min read

The Ministry of Health is cautioning the public about an unauthorized and suspected falsified vitamin and mineral syrup.  The Ministry says that Dayamineral Syrup was not registered with the authorities and therefore cannot be imported into the country as it has not met the necessary quality standards and may be compromised. Some of the 240 milliliter Dayamineral Syrup bottles were found on the local market and have since been confiscated. Health officials advise the public not to use this syrup if you are in possession of it. Pharmacists are warned to remove the product from the shelves if they are selling it. They are advised to buy pharmaceutical products and related supplies from importers and wholesalers licensed by the Ministry of Health.
