Last month we told you about Monique Vernon, a native of Placencia Village who has been accepted to participate in the World Merit 360. Vernon has been fundraising to travel to the Philippines for the biggest and loudest call to action focusing on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. So far, Vernon has raised about one thousand seven hundred and seventy-seven dollars of the two thousand five hundred and eighteen dollars that she needs in order to make the trip. As part of her journey, Vernon posted a 30 seconds video to inform every one of her Sustainable Development Goals and what she wishes to accomplish at World Merit Philippines.
As a youth ambassador of World Merit, I aim to become a global changemaker for SDG 14: Life Below Water!! Follow or support as I embark on this prestigious journey to the Philippines this year!! #MERIT360PH @WorldMerithttps://worldmerit.org/merit360/fundraising.php?id=2771707081
