The number of people who attended the National Agriculture and Trade Show this past weekend totaled 37,461. It is a decrease of 927 when compared to last year. The National Agriculture and Trade Show Committee attributes this decreases to the sustained social media campaign disseminating false information aimed at discouraging attendance at the show. This year’s event which was held under the theme, Let’s Get Growing’ saw the participation of 377 private sector exhibitors and vendors in addition to exhibits from government and regional agencies.
