An official funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock at St. John’s Cathedral in Belize City with interment to follow in San Ignacio. A Government release says Sir Barry’s coffin will be transported from the morgue at nine o’clock tomorrow morning by the Belize Defence force Hearst. It will be taken down St. Thomas Street into Freetown Road onto Mapp Street, passing by the Riverside Tavern, onto North Front Street onto the Swing Bridge and on to Albert Street. The release says this will be the only opportunity to see the funeral procession as it will use the Yarborough Central American Boulevard route to leave the City en route to the San Ignacio Cemetery. Anyone wishing to offer floral tributes may have them delivered to the Cathedral. The families of Michael, Jillian and their children are here in Belize and they will be returning with their loved ones to the United States for burial. There will be a memorial service for the Casey Family in Gallon Jug on Wednesday, March 3rd at the Gallon Jug Community School. Bowen & Bowen, Ltd. and its subsidiary companies as well as Belize Aquaculture, Ltd. will continue business as usual. All distribution centres and offices will be closed for business on Tuesday, March 2nd to allow the employees to pay their respects.
