Omar Chuc, an employee at Toucan Manufacture, is the winner of a brand new truck which was raffled by Courts. Chuc was elated over his brand new truck since he will now be able to chauffeur his family around. Chuc told Love News that the win came as a complete surprise to him.

Omar Chuc – Winner: “Well I didn’t find out because I was at work and then my boss then called me and asked me to give him a hand to pick up something. So I decided to come with the boss and we couldn’t find any parking spot here so we parked on this side. So while we were coming in he opened the door for me and told me to get in and when I got in people surprised me. I got frightened because I didn’t know if it was me or my boss. In December I purchased and then in Janury I think I purchased a phone so I got a good amount of tickets and I filled them in and put in the box but I am really surprised. I feel happy, I feel so happy and surprised. I didn’t know because I haven’t been lucky with any other raffles until now.”

Love News also spoke with Grisel Carballo, the Public Relations Officer at Courts Belize/Unicomer and Leroy Gentle, the Sales Executive at Caribbean Motors who told us more about the raffle.

Grisel Carballo – Public Relations Officer, Courts Belize/Unicomer: When he came into the store everybody was in there and we were just ‘congratulations !’ and ‘Welcome to Courts Belize City!’ so he was in total shock and he didn’t know what was happening but we’re glad that he came and courtesy Caribbean Motors gave him the option of choosing which Wingle the color of his choice and so today that is why we have all these brand new Wingles in different colors.”
Leroy Gentle, the Sales Executive, Caribbean Motors: “He chose this gray unit here, it’s a 2017 2.2 litre 4 cylinder engine. It’s about 24-25 miles a gallon highway. It comes with three years manufacturers warranty and he also gets three years 24 hours on and off road side assistance and additionally you get 3 years full free maintenance. So for the 100,000 km maintenance so what that means is that all the oil changes, the fluid changes, the fluid top off, breaks changes and a set of tire within that 100,000 km is free of cost. Mr.Chuc will never have to come out of pocket to maintain or to pay for that ticket he will simply call Caribbean Motors schedule a time and drop it off and when the time comes he will pick it up. The 24 hours road side assistance literally means wherever he is in this country if he has a manufacturers defect or manufacturers issue he simply calls.”
