Moving from the coast to the west. Criminal activity in the Cayo District continues as a shop was robbed at gunpoint. On Saturday afternoon, Ping An Shop in St. Margaret’s Village was robbed at 3:40 p.m. Senior Super Hilberto Romero says two men committed the crime.
Sr. Superintendent Hilberto Romero (Acting) Head NCIB: “There was a robbery at Ping An Shop in St. Margarets Village where two armed male persons entered the establishment and stole an assortment of items, including cash, a cellular phone, and a 9mm pistol. The proprietor reported that the male persons entered, demanded the items and then they left. We are presently looking for two suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.”
The suspects are two creole persons.
