Police making progress with double homicide case

The police department is making progress into its investigation regarding the murder of Junior Triminio and Christopher Calderon. The duo was gunned down on Zericote Street in Orange Walk Town following a football match. According to the head of the National Criminal Investigative Branch, Joseph Myvette, they have traced the vehicle used in the homicide and have tasked additional officers to the case.

ACP Joseph Myvette: “We are following several significant leads; I believe we do have a vehicle impounded so far and we have Sr. investigators following up on this matter at this time.”

Reporter: “Sir is this vehicle from Orange Walk or ?”

ACP Joseph Myvette: “Not it is from Belize City and it is rental vehicle.”

Jose Sanchez: “Is any of the people you’re looking for from Belize City?”

ACP Joseph Myvette: “No.”

Jose Sanchez: “In you investigation were you able to find out whether or not the deceased Mr. Tremino sponsored any of the teams that were playing?.”

ACP Joseph Myvette: “No not that we know about.”

Reporter: “So being that you have traced down this vehicle. Do you for see that you’re going to make an arrest soon?”

ACP Joseph Myvette: “No well that is a part of the lead we are following and as a result we have put additional investigators on the case being Sr. investigators.”
