Police in Caye Caulker have charged a man for drug related offences. Police say, that on Wednesday afternoon, they visited the water taxi terminal on the island where they intercepted 54-year-old Raul Rafael Rosado of Caye Caulker Village with a package that contained 21.1 grams of crack cocaine. Rosado was arrested and charged for drug trafficking.


On Tuesday, Belize City Police conducted a search in an abandoned house located through Rhaburn’s Alley which led to the discovery of three black plastic bags containing 238 grams of Cannabis. The drugs were labeled and deposited as “Found Property”. Yesterday, police also conducted a searched in an abandoned lot on Flamboyant Street which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing 337 grams of weed. No one was found in the immediate area.  The drugs were labeled as “Found Property”.
