Police Officers from the Eastern Division are undergoing a three-day training on how to diffuse a dangerous situation in a non-lethal way. The recent incident with the thirteen-year-old that was shot by police sparked an outcry from the community. These skills utilized by police officers will prevent a similar incident in the future. Sr. Superintendent Howell Gillett, Commander of Eastern Division, Region One spoke to Love News about the initiative.
The training ends on Wednesday.
