Quality Poultry’s employees held up on Valley of Peace Road

Police are investigating a robbery which took place along the Valley of Peace Road in the Cayo District. 23-year-old Nelson Valladares, a Sales Representative of Quality Poultry reported to police that he was with his co-worker, Carlos Vasquez, in a delivery truck. Upon reaching the bridge by the Banana Bank junction, the truck slowed down. It was then that two Hispanic masked men emerged from nearby bushes. The delivery truck stopped and the two occupants were ordered out of the truck.  The culprits locked the men inside the cargo section of the truck. The robbers forced opened an iron safe and left with five thousand dollars. The men were later rescued by police officers who were traveling on the same road.
