The Republic of China (Taiwan)  is one of the country’s staunch allies that continues to contribute to Belize’s development. One of the ways it does this is by contributing to humanitarian and charity-oriented programs or institutions in Belize. In this regard, the Republic of China (Taiwan) is partnering with the Inspiration Centre to foster more love and hope to the nurturing of the Belizean children in need. This morning a ceremony was held at the Inspiration Centre where H.E. Ambassador Remus Li-Kuo Chen and Kim Simplis-Barrow jointly launched the 2019 projects focused on Community-Based Rehabilitation, Public Education and Awareness and Staff Capacity Building. The Republic of China (Taiwan) has been supporting initiatives of the Inspiration Centre since its inception in 2014. The program seeks to take the services of the centre to the children right in the comforts of their home in order to include their families in the treatment process. The Embassy takes this opportunity to commend the Centre’s dedication to assisting children with disabilities in order for them to develop the skills needed to grow into productive citizen of Belize.
