Ryan Hyde charged with theft

Twenty-four-year-old Ryan Hyde, a resident of Roaring Creek, was charged with theft when he appeared yesterday in Corozal Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Patricia Arana. Hyde pled guilty to the charge. He was fined one thousand dollars and he was ordered to pay five hundred dollars forthwith. If he defaults on payment he will serve one year. On November 29, 2017, Hyde cut the padlock of the Smart compound located in San Joaquin Village and stole two hundred and twenty feet of copper wire, valued at one thousand two hundred and thirty-seven dollars. Police reported that Hyde is wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Roaring Creek in which Jose Nahera was shot.
