Cynthia Williams is the Director of the Women’s Department who spoke on the upcoming annual 16 Days of Activism.

Williams went on to discuss how several agencies are coming up with ways to become involved in the 16 Days of Activism program. The business sector is also being invited to take part by either decorating their offices with orange décor or orange lights whilst encouraging their employees to attend the workshops being planned.

The theme for this year’s awareness program focuses on embracing both adults and children in the awareness campaigns. Williams says that the education and the efforts have to continue for as long as there are victims out there.
