22-year-old Remanded Following Altercation

22-year-old, James Linsford Vargas is on remand at the Belize Central Prison, pending bail, after pulling a gun on Japhet Gordon. The incident allegedly occurred on Monday in Lords Bank Village, Ladyville area. Vargas appeared unrepresented before the Belize Magistrate’s court today where he pleaded not guilty to the offense.  He was denied bail due to the nature of the offense, and was remanded into custody at the Belize Central Prison until April 10.
