9-Year-Old Hospitalized After Road Traffic Incident on George Price Highway

A 9-year-old student was taken to the hospital this morning following a road traffic incident at mile nine and a half on the George Price Highway.  Reports indicate that the driver of a grey Toyota Hilux, Stephen Coleman, rear-ended a blue Dodge Caravan van just before eight o’clock this morning.   Love News understands that both vehicles were heading east towards Belize City when the incident occurred.  The child, who was a passenger in the Hilux, was taken to the hospital, and is reportedly in a stable condition.  Both Coleman and the driver of the Dodge, Kadeem Courtenay have agreed to settle the matter through their respective insurance companies, after Coleman has accepted responsibility for the incident.
