Belize Shines on Global Stage, Hosting World Sustainable Travel Awards on World Tourism Day

On Friday, Belize became the talk of the global tourism community as it hosted the inaugural World Sustainable Travel and Hospitality Awards, coinciding with World Tourism Day. Tourism stakeholders from across the globe gathered in the Spanish Lookout community as Belize was recognized for its progressive approach toward sustainable tourism and balancing economic growth and nature conservation.
