Paul Mahung, Toledo Correspondent: A fatal traffic incident has claimed the life of a villager in Rural Toledo. The incident happened at about 11:30am  in Indiancreek Village located twenty five miles out Punta Gorda on the Southern Highway. The driver of the Mazda pickup was 71-year-old Guillermo Cus who spoke to Love News.

Guillermo Cus, Driver: “I was coming down to Mango Creek, coming home to Silver Creek, when I passed Indian Creek I saw a bicycle coming down but straight into me to my right so I couldn’t do better. He came in from a little road but he came straight into the road but he dumped up straight into my car, I couldn’t do better he cut the road straight. From there I didn’t know what to do so I saw the man fall so I stayed there, I didn’t move. I tried to call the police but it looked like no service so I waited until they reached. It was not my fault, it was the man’s fault.”

Paul Mahung, Toledo Correspondent: The body of Miguel Sam was taken to Punta Gorda Hospital where was pronounced dead upon arrival.
