A parade to celebrate the disabled because “Meaningful Inclusion Matters”

This morning students from across the Old Capital and a number of non- profit-organizations marched through the streets of Belize City to raise awareness for persons living with diverse abilities. The parade was the culminating event for Disability week which is being celebrated under the theme “meaningful inclusion matters”. The march began in front of the Shell Gas Station on Central American Boulevard and ended at Battlefield Park. Reporter Vejea Alvarez was there and tells us more.
