Allegations of Unfair Treatment in Brawl Case Emerge in Court

Two Caye Caulker residents are claiming unfair treatment after being charged in connection with a brawl where one of them was severely beaten. Thirty-five-year-old Gerson Guerra was charged with grievous harm against Abimael Riveroll, while his brother Eber Guerra was charged with common assault. Outside of the courthouse Eber Guerra said that he was the one being assaulted by as many as eight men and his brother was just trying to help.

Guerra went on to say that the brawl, which left him disfigured erupted from a simple misunderstanding.
