Alliance for Democracy Opts for Mediation in UDP Expulsion Dispute

Tracy Panton of the Alliance for Democracy has issued a statement today saying that they have decided to return to mediation with a goal of securing a retraction to the expulsion.  The release says that the alliance has been actively working behind the scenes to regain their positions in the UDP’s Central Executive.  The release reads, quote, “We remain hopeful that an agreement can still be reached to return to mediation. In light of this, we have decided to stay our next course of action to give the process a fair chance to succeed. We believe that a resolution is still possible and are committed to giving dialogue and negotiation every opportunity to prevail.” End of quote.  Love News understands that while the release is saying that the alliance is open to mediation, the mere issuance of the release has gone contrary to the terms of the mediation process.  This is the second attempt at mediation on the division in the party.
