Two elderly men were hospitalized over the weekend after they were stabbed during an altercation in the Rural Belize District. On Saturday night, around 11 o’clock, a group of people was socializing after a cricket match in Lemonal Village when an argument ensued between 23-year-old Dwayne Sutherland, 62-year-old Russell Anthony, and 64-year-old Tony Anthony. According to police, Sutherland pulled a knife from his waist and stabbed both men before being stopped by an officer who fired warning shots in the air.
