Police have captured Andy Rhaburn, who is accused of the murder of his mother, 53-year-old Braulia Pech. According to Police, Rhaburn was found in the bushes around 12:30 this afternoon. He was located about a quarter mile off the Philip Goldson Highway between miles 44 and 45 on the outskirts of Carmelita Village, Orange Walk District. When the officers called him, Rhaburn attacked them with a machete. In response one of the officers fired a single shot at him. Rhaburn was hit in his left arm and left hip. He was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital where he was treated and listed in a stable condition. He remains under Poli8ce guard. Rhaburn was sought after he reportedly hit his mother at least seven times with a crowbar on Tuesday morning, January 16. Pech died shortly after. Rhaburn is also accused of hitting a second woman, Lilia Xujur who was treated and released.
