Yesterday we reported on the gruesome discovery of the body of 28-year-old 28-year-old Edilberto Madrid. Today the body of one of Madrid’s co-workers, Stephen Hyde, was discovered in a shallow grave. We hear more in this report.
“The search for 51-year-old, Steven Hyde a resident of Roaring Creek Village, Cayo District, who was reported missing on Monday, May 25, came to a tragic end this afternoon, May 27, as sometime around three o clock the body was found buried at a farm in the Young Gal area of Camalote Village also in the Cayo District. Love News spoke to Viola Spence, the mother of the deceased who was the last one to speak to her son.”
“Monday morning he came and he said, mom I came to spend half day with you and half day with my sister and he went to his sister and he came back in the afternoon and spent the afternoon with me. From there he left the evening late, I gave him some food Monday evening because it was a holiday. He said Russel told him he had to work but he told him that he wouldn’t work because it was a holiday and he needed to come look for his mother and his sister and he came down and afterwards he said he was leaving. I gave him some food and a new brand hammock and some clothes. He left and since then I have not seen him. Today when I saw the police reach, I began making sign to them asking them what happened. I asked if they found my son dead and the policeman only smiled. After that I went out there and when I went out there they said that they had found the body of Steven Hyde in a shallow grave behind Hyde’s farm. His two hands were cut off and his two feet. To the killer I would say: I am leaving it in God’s hands; that man is high but he looks below and God will take care of him in the correct way how he did my son.”
