Police investigations are ongoing in the armed hold-up of a pump attendant in western Belize. The incident happened on Sunday just after five o’clock at the Puma Service Station located on Bullet Tree Road in San Ignacio. 47-year-old Raymond Tzib reported that two Hispanic men arrived on a motorcycle. As you see here on your screens, the passenger got off the bike and placed an object – believed to be a firearm – on Tzib’s back. Fearing for his life, Tzib handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The two men then sped off on the bike in the direction of the Santiago Juan Layout area. Police canvassed the entire area but thus far, searches have turned up nothing. Tzib was physically unhurt.
