Artwork of Pen Cayetano is on Display at the Museum of Belize

The Museum of Belize is hosting an art exhibition displaying the paintings of Belizean artist, Delvin “Pen” Cayetano. The collections on display have been separated into different themes determined by pivotal moments during Cayetano’s career. The museum’s curator, Ilona Smiling, explains that his artwork highlights spirituality, history, and the Garifuna culture.

The museum was working with Cayetano since last year to transport the paintings from abroad and was finally able to bring the exhibition to life in February.

The Museum will be open to the public on Saturday, November 19 in commemoration of Garifuna Settlement Day.
