Attorney says Dalla and Shyne will settle

KAREEM ON DERMEN

The last update we had reported concerning a court case involving Shyne Barrow and Troy ‘DJ Dalla’ Flowers, was that the two were looking to settle out of court. Well, that’s what Dalla’s attorney, Kareem Musa had stated.

The last update we had reported concerning a court case involving Shyne Barrow and Troy ‘DJ Dalla’ Flowers, was that the two were looking to settle out of court. Well, that’s what Dalla’s attorney, Kareem Musa had stated. A few hours later, however, Shyne issued a press release stating that there has been no claim filed against him, and therefore, there has been no discussion of settlements. Today, we spoke with Musa again to try and clear up this he said/she said situation.

Kareem Musa, Attorney: “As far as I am aware I have been instructed not to file the case. That for all intents and purposes indicates to me that there is an ongoing settlement. Like I said there was an intermediary who agreed to take on the payments to Belize Brewing Company, I have to make sure that that is taking place. If that has not taken place then I will consult once again with my client to see if he wants to continue with the case or not but as far as I’m aware it has been settled.”

The claim is that Shyne Barrow had gotten drinks for Music Week on Flowers’ account and did not pay his bill; a claim that Shyne has denied.
