Author Ramy Chia Inspires Students Through Book Readings in Belize City Schools

Engineer and author Ramy Chia is continuing her push to inspire students through her book Amy’s Red-Haired Dream, by holding book readings in schools. Today, Chia visited students at Ebenezer Methodist School in Belize City to share her story and encourage the students to push through societal and gender barriers to pursue their dreams. Today she told Love News about her plans to take her reading to more schools.

Camilla Crawford, a teacher at the school said that they invited Chia to read for the students because the message of her book is in line with the values that the school strives to instill in its students. We also spoke with one of the students, Nusrath Chowdhury, who told us what she liked about the reading.

Chia is also the President of the Association of Professional Engineers of Belize.
