Progress Made in Investigation of Robbery of Canadian Tourists

Twenty-one year old Adolphus Palacio Jr., one two men who allegedly robbed two persons on Sunday, February 7, at the Tropical Education Center in Democracia, was charged with 2 counts of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery when he appeared today before Magistrate Deborah Rogers with his left arm heavily bandaged. Palacio was also charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault. He pled not guilty to the charges. He was remanded into custody until April 12. According to the allegation, Palacio and another whilst armed with a firearm forced Cynthia Frederick and Jorge Lopez back into their cabin and stole from them 2 i phones and 2 cameras. Palacio was chopped on his left arm with a machete.
