A Back to School Expo was held today at the Belmopan Civic Center.  The expo surrounded the issue of non-communicable diseases, also referred to as NCDs.  Hundreds of students from the area were able to pass through the civic to view the educational booths inside the civic and to ask questions regarding NCDs, its causes, symptoms and prevention.  For the opening ceremony, Cecilia Ramirez-Smith addressed the gathering on behalf of the Ministry of Education.
