Alvin Luis:“We left like 1:20 roughly in the morning before day and when I got up we were off the road turned over flipped. I just remember everyone bawling, I was bawling for my life to come out, the whole crew and that was it. I don’t know what happened before.”

Harry Arzu, Stann Creek Correspondent: Who was driving ?

Alvin Luis: “A taxi guy, Cashew, we normally hire him to take us all over the place.”

Harry Arzu, Stann Creek Correspondent: He does taxi runs in Dangriga?

Alvin Luis: “Yeah, he’s a taximan in Dangriga.”

Harry Arzu, Stann Creek Correspondent: So it was car ?

Alvin Luis: “It’s a van. He’s a well known guy too, people know the man. We normally hire him to take us around.”

Harry Arzu, Stann Creek Correspondent: Did anybody get major injuries?

Alvin Luis:“Well just one of our guys, Elroy Martinez. They checked us out and I ended up leaving so I don’t really know how Elroy stands at this time. “

Harry Arzu, Stann Creek Correspondent: So he got seriously hurt ?

Alvin Luis: “Well he is the only one that ended up in the bed. The rest of the guys are in a lot of pain, some got scrapped up and a lot of blood as all over the place too. I don’t know how we survived that one but we did, we flipped and the vehicle ended up on a thing but we ended up surviving and everybody fought for their lives. Thank God.”
