BDF adds vehicles to its fleet

The Ministry of National Defence and Border Security and the Belize Defence Force have received three new vehicles. During a brief ceremony on Wednesday, Minister Florencio Marin, Jr. handed over three 2022 Mitsubishi L-200 pickup trucks to the BDF and a fourth to the Ministry. A release from the BDF says that the trucks were acquired over time from the Ministry’s Capital Two funds. The trucks for the BDF are for the force’s operations and the Ministry’s vehicle will assist in administration. CEO Dario Tapia, Chief of Defence Staff, Rear Admiral Johnny Borland and BDF Commander, Brigadier General Azariel Loria were on hand for the ceremony.
