A Belize Defence Force soldier who was in court on Monday for allegedly harming his stepson has stepped forward to clear his name and give his side of the story.  Kenneth Arzu says he has been reading the comments on social media and the various news reports and has become concerned at the misinformation.  Today he spoke with Love News to explain that it is not a clear-cut case and that the report was not made by the child’s mother but rather by the child’s father.

Arzu says that everything is normal at home and there is no hostility or tensions despite the report.  He says he has been a father figure to his spouse’s two children and he intends to continue doing that despite this incident.
