BEL Spreads Holiday Cheer with Annual Christmas Hamper Drive for Families and Seniors

For the 26th consecutive year, the Belize Electricity Limited continued its tradition of spreading holiday cheer through its Annual Christmas Hamper Drive. This week, the company delivered over 220 food hampers and care packages to deserving families and senior citizens nationwide. Over the past two weeks, BEL’s employees worked to package and deliver 120 hampers filled with essential groceries and items for a traditional Christmas meal to families in need. In addition to these hampers, 100 care packages containing essential groceries and toiletries were delivered to senior citizens, ensuring they feel the warmth and care of the holiday season. The company says what makes the initiative special is the active involvement of its employees, who play a crucial role in identifying deserving families and individuals through their connections with the communities served by the company.
