Belize Ambassador Urges Caution at Northern Border Amid Immigration Documentation Issues

The Ambassador of Belize to Mexico is urging Belizeans to be attentive when crossing the northern border this weekend. Late this evening, Ambassador Oscar Arnold reached out to Love News to state that since this morning, four Belizeans have run into problems with the law due to errors with their immigration documentation. Arnold says he will be meeting with Mexican Immigration officials to discuss the issue but, in the meantime, he implores Belizeans to ensure they follow proper procedures to avoid detention.

Belize’s Honorary counsel in Chetumal is working to have Mexican authorities release the four Belizeans that remain detained up to news time tonight.
