Belize Band Fest 2023 Returns with a Bang!

Belize Band Fest returned with a bang on Saturday at the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk Town. Organized by Love FM, Belize Band Fest 2023 featured various marching bands from across the country and aimed to showcase the musical talents of Belizean youth. The festival typically attracts thousands of spectators who come to enjoy the lively music, colorful costumes, and energetic performances. Hipolito Novelo reports. 

In memory of Yasin Shoman, the Ruth Shoman Award was presented to Andres Chiroy of Benque Viejo Marching Band for the Best Leader/Director for Marching Band with wind instrument, and Richard Pitts of San Pedro High School Marching Band for the Best Leader/Director for Drum Corps.
