Belize City Council Donates Cleaning Supplies to Primary Schools

The Belize City Council through the Child Advisory Body has made a major donation to the 31 primary schools in Belize City.  The donation included a variety of cleaning products including bathroom supplies, disinfectant wipes, and hand sanitizers, among others.  Mayor Bernard Wagner and City Councilor Kaya Cattouse spearheaded this morning’s handing over at the House of Culture.

The initiative was welcomed by educators alike, as tight budgets sometimes make it hard to source and purchase the products needed. Jamael Campbell, Principal of the Trinity Methodist Primary School, expressed gratitude for the council’s proactive approach in addressing the needs of the schools.

The total value of the donation is an estimated fourteen thousand dollars.
