Belize City Council Members Conduct Inaugural Site Tours for Insightful Governance

Today, the newly sworn-in 2024-2027 Belize City Council Members embarked on site tours.  The tour took the Mayor Bernard Wagner and the ten councillors to the Michael Finnegan Market, the Parks Unit, the Public Health & Cemetery Office, as well as the headquarters for the Works and Sanitation Departments.  According to the council, these site visits offer invaluable insights into the daily operations and challenges faced by each department, paving the way for informed decision-making and effective governance. It will also foster better understanding and collaboration among our council members and department teams.
